HUMBLE WELCOME (HW) is not a business. This website was created as a free service to help those needing housing connect with potential hosts within our network of relationships.

If we introduce you to a potential host, we will encourage you to ask the host any questions you may have about his/her home and expectations. If possible, visit the home before making your decision. If you do not feel comfortable with the host or the accommodations, do NOT stay there. Staying with a stranger involves trust on both sides. If you do not feel comfortable, continue your search for suitable housing.

As part of offering hospitality, we encourage each of our hosts to offer four days at no charge. If you are staying longer than four days, the host will inform you of his/her housing fee. This is determined by the host NOT by HW. You can expect that the fees will be lower than the cost of a hotel and most Airbnb hosts. Payments are made directly to the host, not HW.
